SPN-CPAP

Spontaneous Continuous Positive Airway Pressure
Suitable for patients with sufficient spontaneous
breathing. Spontaneous breathing at an increased
pressure level to raise the functional residual
capacity.
Set CPAP with the buttons for the ventilation
parameters:
– Positive end expiratory pressure »CPAP«
– O concentration »FiO
2
SPN-CPAP can be expanded with the following
ventilation parameters:
– Apnoea ventilation, see page 73.
With apnoea Ventilation switched on:
Set pressure limitation »P
Non-invasive ventilation with a hose system
with leak valve – using the »Mask« application
method, see page 75.
Setting alarm limits, see page 84.
