Understanding the error codes
Your washer has an automatic error-monitoring system to detect and diagnose
problems at an early stage.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

E1
Your washer takes more than
30 minutes to fill with water. After
water finishes entering your
washer, the water level hasn't
changed in five minutes.
E2
Your washer takes more than 10
minutes to drain.
E3
The lid is open.
E4
Your washer is out of balance more
than three times in spin operation.
E5
Impact switch failed. The switch is
pressed against the outer tub cover.
F2
The EEPROM failed.

Load sensing failed.
Your washer is not level.
F8
Water level sensor failed.
Fd
Lid lock failed.
C9
The PCB failed.
CL
The lid has been open for over
20 seconds with the child lock
function turned on.
Note: To clear the E1, E2, E3, or E4 error code, press the

SOLUTIONS
• Make sure that the lid isn't open.
• Make sure that water isn't leaking.
