Observing the Underscanned Video Monitor, fine adjust
the Horizontal difference of the Vertical Line of the
Crosshatch signal becomes minimum.
(5). Buffer Amplifier Adjustment

VR401 (Y-GAIN (U))
VR402 (Y PED (U))
VR403 (R-Y C-PED (U))
VR405 (B-Y C-PED (U))
VR406 (Y-GAIN (L))
VR407 (Y-PED (L))
VR408 (R-Y C-PED (L))
VR410 (B-Y C-PED (L))
Supply the Ramp signal to the Playback Input Connector
on the Rear Panel.
The Signal Generator has been Gen Lock with the signal
of the Recording Output Connector.
Press the VTR/Camera Selection button on the Front
Panel.
Set the Gain Control of the Vectorscope to the maximum.
Adjust VR403 so that the R-Y Chroma Pedestal vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope as shown in Fig.
4-3.
Adjust VR405 so that the B-Y Chroma Pedestal vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope as shown in Fig.
4-3.

Set the Waveform Monitor to the Chroma mode.
Observing the Waveform Monitor, confirm that the
Chroma Pedestal level is less than 35 mV as shown in
Fig. 4-4.
Chroma Pedestal level
should be less than 35 mV.

Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75Ω to the
Recording Output Connector.
Adjust VR402 so that the Luminance Pedestal level
+ 7
becomes 0
mV as shown in Fig. 4-5.

Adjust VR401 so that the Luminance level becomes 700 ±
14 mV as shown in Fig. 4-6.
Supply the Ramp signal to the Camera Input 1 Connector
on the Rear Panel.
Press the CH1 button on the Front Panel.
Adjust VR408 so that the R-Y Chroma Pedestal vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope as shown in Fig.
4-7.
Adjust VR410 so that the B-Y Chroma Pedestal vector
positions at the center of the Vectorscope as shown in Fig.
4-7.
