5. Removal of BD Mechanism Unit
a.
Remove 4 screws ( ⑪ ). (Fig. 3)
b. Unlock and remove CN3001. (Fig. 3)
c.
Unlock and remove SC3002, and ground the terminal
face of the flexible flat cable with a clip or the like.
(Fig. 3)
d. Remove the BD mechanism unit. (Fig. 3)

Use a clip or other item to ground
the unit.
How to manually eject the disc tray
a.
Remove the top cover and front panel unit. (Fig. 1)
b. Press the manual eject lever with screwdriver until the disc tray is ejected. (Fig. 4)
c.
Gently pull the disc tray out.
