The HoverCast- Introduction
The Pilot comes equipped with a wireless HDMI antenna and receiver combination
called the HoverCast. Using the HoverCast, the Pilot communicates wirelessly with any
interactive flat panel, projector, display, or unit with an HDMI input. The HoverCast
pairs one-to-one from antenna to receiver, so it is possible for multiple HoverCast
signals to be present in the same room without interference.
As the HoverCast does not require a wi-fi signal or Bluetooth signal to function,
wireless HDMI operation does not affect internet connectivity, bandwidth, Bluetooth
connectivity, or other external wireless communication.
The HoverCast- Components
Wireless HDMI Antenna
The HoverCast is composed of two main components: the wireless HDMI antenna
(connected at the top-left corner of the Pilot touch screen module) and the wireless
HDMI receiver (included in packaging). Both components are necessary for wireless
HDMI viewing. The wireless HDMI receiver requires external power. The ideal tested
range between the HoverCast antenna and receiver is 30ft or less.
NOTE: The wireless HDMI receiver is specifically paired with its corresponding Pilot unit. Loss or damage of the receiver
will impair one-to-one connectivity. Pilot units with lost or broken receivers will need a new receiver to be paired and
programmed before continuing use. If your receiver is lost or broken, please contact HoverCam Support.

HoverCast Pairing

Wireless HDMI receivers and antennae come already paired out of the box. HoverCast
connection requires line-of-sight visibility to maximize functionality.
To begin pairing, make sure your HDMI receiver is secured to the desired output device
(using the attached screw unit) and is connected to external power. When properly
powered, the receiver will display a single red solid light. Once receiving power,
connect the included HDMI cable from the receiver to the HDMI input on the desired
output device. If working with a touch-enabled output device, connect the provided
USB touch cable between the receiver and output device.
