Using the appliance
Connecting the appliance
1 Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (fig. 2).
2 Insert the adapter into the wall socket (fig. 3).
Epilating the legs
1 HP2840 only: Switch the appliance on by pushing the on/off slide
to position I.
2 HP2841 only: Switch the appliance on by pushing the on/off slide
to the desired speed setting.

Select speed I for areas with little hair growth, for hard-to-reach
areas and for areas where bones are located directly beneath the
skin, such as knees and ankles (fig. 4).

Select speed II for larger areas with stronger hair growth (fig. 5).
3 Stretch the skin with your free hand to make the hairs stand
upright (fig. 6).
Stretching the skin properly is particularly important if you have

sensitive or delicate skin.
4 Place the epilator perpendicularly onto the skin with the on/off
slide pointing in the direction in which you are going to move the
appliance (fig. 7).
5 Move the appliance slowly over the skin, against the direction of
hair growth (fig. 8).
Do not apply any pressure.
6 Switch the appliance off by pushing the on/off slide to position 0
(fig. 9).
Cleaning
For a good and smooth epilating result, it is essential that you clean the
epilating head after each use.
