    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FILLING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Make sure unit is unplugged. 2. Place unit on a flat and stable surface. 3. Remove water reservoir cap on unit. 4. Fill the provided cup with tap water to the maximum fill level indicated on the unit. NOTe: filtered water is recommended to help to reduce problems associated with hard water.
  • Page 7 5. To stop the flow of steam, release the trigger. 6. Unplug the device when it is not in use. STEAMING TIPS & CLEANING AND STORING 1. To prepare your fabric for steaming, brush it with the lint brush attachment. This will loosen the fibers and allow better steam penetration.

    HOW TO STEAM Grasp the «Handle» steam nozzle with the steam jets facing away from you. Begin at the bottom of the fabric to allow the steam to rise inside and outside, removing wrinkles. Slowly move the nozzle from the bottom to the top of the fabric. Remove the nozzle from the garment and smooth the fabric with your free hand.

For best performance from your Conair Garment Steamer, decalcify the unit from time to time. The frequency depends upon the hardness of your tap water and how often you use the steamer.
