Installation, repairs and other work
by unqualified persons could be
dangerous. The manufacturer cannot
be held liable for unauthorised work.
Connection to the electrical supply
must be carried out by a suitably
qualified and competent person in
accordance with local and national
safety regulations. Ensure power is
not supplied to the appliance until
after installation or repair work has
been carried out.
Connection of this appliance to the
electricity supply must be made in
accordance with current safety
regulations (BS 7671 in the UK).
It must be hard wired. A suitable
means of disconnection must be
provided on site for each pole.
Suitable means of disconnection
include switches with an all-pole
contact gap of at least 3 mm. These
include isolator switch, fuses and relays
(EN 60335).

Electrical connection

Connection data
The connection data is quoted on the
data plate. The data plate on the Range
Cooker is located behind the removable
plinth cover (see "Overview Range
Cooker").
Ensure that these match the mains
supply.
 When contacting Miele, please quote
the following:
– Model designation
– Serial number
– Connection data (voltage/frequency/
maximum connected load)
If the mains connection cable is
replaced or changed, ensure that the
correct connection cable type is
used.
For a 3 phase connection use cable
type H 05 VV-F with the correct
cross-section.
For a 1 phase connection use cable
type S 05 VV-F with the correct
cross-section.
