Communication Example between RJ71EIP91 and
EtherNet/IP Device
This section describes examples of Class 1 instance communications and Class 1 tag communications between the
RJ71EIP91 and an EtherNet/IP device.

System configuration example

The following system configuration is used to for the examples of Class 1 instance communications and Class 1 tag
communications.

• CPU module: R04CPU
• EtherNet/IP network interface module: RJ71EIP91 (start I/O number: 0000H to 001FH, IP address: 192.168.3.51)
(2) EtherNet/IP device (target)
• Vision system (IP address: 192.168.3.1)
(3) Programmable controller system (target)
• Power supply module: R61P
• CPU module: R04CPU
• EtherNet/IP network interface module: RJ71EIP91 (start I/O number: 0000H to 001FH, IP address: 192.168.3.2)
