Manage Account and Password
1. Password Requirements
•
Minimum 6 characters and maximum 20 characters
•
At least 1 number
•
At least 1 upper case letter
•
At least 1 lower case letter
•
At least 1 special character including [ ] { } ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ - = + ; : , . < > / ? \ |
•
Characters are restricted to those on QWERT keyboard with no special accented foreign language letter
2. Add New User(s) Account (Maximum 10 Users)
Note: Only Administrator can provide each User with a default password and a user name. Perform Step 1, 2 and 3 in sequence.
•
Step 1: Administrator creates a Default Password for new Users
•
1) Login as Admin
•
2) Select Utilities, then Manage User Accounts
•
3) Select Default Password button and enter Administrator password. Select Submit.
•
4) The current default password for new operators is displayed as *characters.
•
5) Select View adjacent to the default password entry field.
•
6) The current default password is displayed.
•
7) Press Submit to keep the current default password or enter a new default password in the entry field. Select Submit.
•
8) Administrator provides the above default password to the new Users.
•
Step 2: Administrator adds a new User (Maximum 10 Users)
•
1) On Manage User Accounts screen, select the Add button
•
2) On Manage User Accounts screen, select a User, press the Delete button, and then select the Add button.
•
3) Enter name for the new User, maximum 20 characters. Select Submit.
•
4) Log off as Administrator.
•
Step 3: New User enters new customized password
•
1) Login as new User using the above default password.
•
2) Select System Settings, then Change Password.
•
3) Follow instructions on the screen display to change password.
•
4) Log off as User.
•
5) Login again as new User using the new customized password.
•
6) Main Menu is displayed.
•
7) New customized password is accepted by the DMS.
3. Change Administrator password
•
1) Login as Administrator.
•
2) Select System Settings, then Change Password
•
3) Follow instructions on the screen display to change password.
•
4) Log off as Administrator.
•
5) Login again as Administrator using the new customized password.
•
6) Main Menu is displayed.
•
7) New customized password is accepted by the DMS.
4. Change User password for the current User.
•
1) Enter the current user password.
•
2) Select the Submit button.
•
3) Enter the new password.
•
4) Select the Submit button again to save the new password.
•
5) Press Cancel at any time to discard changes and return to the System Settings screen.
