INSPECTION AND
MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
The chart indicates the intervals between
periodic services in kilometers and months.
At the end of each interval, be sure to
inspect, check, lubricate and service as
instructed. If your motorcycle is used under
high stress conditions such as continuous
full throttle operation, or is operated in a
dusty climate, certain services should be
performed more often to ensure reliability of
the machine as explained in the mainte-
nance section. Your Suzuki dealer can pro-
vide you with further guidelines. Steering
components, suspension and wheel compo-
nents are key items and require very special
and careful servicing. For maximum safety
we suggest that you have these items
inspected and serviced by your authorized
Suzuki
dealer
or
mechanic.

WARNING
Improper maintenance or failure to per-
form recommended maintenance can
lead to an accident.
Keep your motorcycle in good condition.
Ask your Suzuki dealer or a qualified
mechanic to perform the maintenance
items marked with an asterisk (*). You
may perform the unmarked mainte-
nance items by referring to the instruc-
tions in this section, if you have
mechanical experience. If you are not
sure how to do any of the jobs, ask your
Suzuki dealer to do the maintenance.
