Startup Updating (SD card/USB memory)
Updating is made detecting the firmware stored in an SD card or USB memory.
1 Copy the new firmware to an SD card or USB memory and mount it in the player.

USB memory: Copy in root directory
Turn on the player. If the firmware is stored in an SD card or USB memory recognized by the player, firmware updating
automatically starts.
During updating, the display block on the player shows "UPDATE SD XX.XX" or "UPDATE USB XX.XX."
The firmware version is displayed for "XX.XX."

The firmware cannot be updated if the SD card or USB memory is write-protected (locked).
2 Check the result of updating.
When firmware updating ends successfully, "SUCCESS" is displayed on the LCD of the player.
Restart the player manually to make updating valid.
If updating is interrupted or failed, "FAILURE" is displayed on the LCD of the player.
When you press the STANDBY key, the player enters Off (Standby) status.

You can check the firmware version by either of the following methods:

Hold the Display key on the player pressed. The version is displayed on the first line of the LCD.

Call the Player Property screen of the player Setup menu, which shows "Firmware Version."
