REMOTE CONTROL CENTRE (PSTN ARC)
The PSTN alarm receiving centre must support BS8521 or TT92 protocol. The Advent XT2 can have 2 dedicated PSTN
telephone lines connected, this will allow 2 simultaneous offsite calls or if one line fails the second line will
automatically be selected.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATOR (IP ARC)
The ARC must support Now IP protocol. A Broadband connection with a fixed IP address is required.
MANAGER'S DISPLAY PANEL
A maximum of 32 Manager's display panels can be connected on the Advent XT2 system. These are wall mounted
10.1" TFT touch screen monitors to display call information and the system status, they are also used to setup system
features and to add/remove radio devices. A large screen "Notice Board" monitor can be connected to the HDMI port
of each Manager's panel to display information on events or messages for staff/residents. Manager's panels require a
local mains supply and connection to the Advent XT2 controller via an Ethernet switch.
NETWORK RECEIVERS & TELECARE DEVICES
A maximum of 32 x 869MHz network receivers can be connected on the Advent XT2 system. Up to 8192 x 869MHz
Telecare radio devices can be registered per site (16 per dwelling). Radio devices include; personal pendants, fall
detectors, flood detectors, temperature sensors, gas detectors, CO detectors, etc.
DOOR ENTRY OPTION
Up to 16 digital door entry panels can be connected on the Advent XT2 system - additional PSU's will be required for
door locks. Door panels have a "Manager" button as standard, door entry telephone or intercom options are available.
PA OPTION
A public address (PA) option is available to broadcast general announcements or a fire alarm tone through all
intercoms. All intercoms have a PA facility as standard, one PA amplifier is required for every 80 intercoms. Each group
of 80 intercoms must be wired on a separate network leg.

standard.

regulator board will be required in each intercom)
