Installation The device must be professionally installed. IMPORTANT NOTE: The unit is designed for outdoor use and may be attached to either a pole or wall. A waterproof connector is supplied to ensure a watertight seal for connecting the Ethernet cable to the device. Note: The device can be mounted either outdoors or indoors. - Page 4 FAP-S322C To mount the FortiAP unit on a pole 1. Fasten the wall-mount base securely to the back of the unit using the provided mounting screws. 2. Attach the pole-mount bracket to the wall-mount base using with the provided screws. The pole-mount bracket can be attached either vertically or horizontally, as required.

Use the 2.4GHz antennae to 2.4GHz 5GHz access WiFi 1 (802.11 b/g/n at 300Mbps) signals, and the 5GHz antennae to access WiFi 2 (802.11 a/n/ac at 867Mbps) signals. To use both radio frequencies concurrently, use all six WiFi antennae.
