Offline Tools

Offline Tools is used to configure BMC.
9.1

Starting Offline Tools

Start up the offline tools at the following steps.
1. Turn on the peripheral devices and then the server.
2. Press the <F4> key while the message below is displayed.
Press <F2> SETUP, <F3> Internal Flash Memory, <F4> ROM Utility, <F12> Network
3. Keyboard Selection Menu appears after POST completion.
When you select a keyboard type, the following menu is displayed.
4. Select BMC Configuration or BMC Configuration Initialization to start each feature.
For details, see the next section (9.2 Features of Offline Tools).
9.2

Features of Offline Tools

Offline Tools offers the following features.
BMC Configuration
Used to provide settings for alert feature by Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) and for using
remote management feature from management PC.
BMC Configuration Initialization
Used to initialize BMC configuration data.
