4 INSTALLING THE OPTIONAL INTERFACE BOARDS

4.1 VoIP Board (VOIPDB-C1)
4.1.1 General
The IP7WW-VOIPDB-C1 daughter board is used to convert the RTP (Real Time Transfer Protocol)
packets via the IP Network and PCM highway. The daughter board is installed on the CPU board.
4.1.2 Unpacking

4.1.3 Installing the VOIPDB-C1 Board
The boards are hot swappable. Do not remove or install from the chassis when
powering up.
• Do not remove or install the CPU board with the power on.
• If Expansion Chassis are installed, turn the power on/off in the order of
Expansion 2 Chassis, Expansion 1 Chassis and then Main Chassis.

Turn off the system power.
2.
Loosen two screws and pull out the CPU board.
