To turn on the answering
system by remote
If you have left your home or office without setting the unit to the auto
answer mode, you can set it from any Touch-Tone
telephone.

Dial your phone number.
Let the phone ring 16 times.
After 16 rings, the unit plays
back your outgoing message

and 3 beeps sound.
After 3 beeps, no sound is
heard for approximately

Within these 10 seconds, enter

your remote access code.

The unit automatically
resets to
the auto answer mode.

To reset the answering
system by remote
When the tape is fully recorded, the unit shuts off. But you can retrieve
recorded messages
by remote as follows:

Dial your phone number.
Let the phone ring 16 times.
After 16 rings, the unit plays
back your outgoing message
and 3 beeps sound.
After 3 beeps, no sound is
heard for approximately

seconds.
Within these 10 seconds, enter
your remote access code.
The message tape rewinds and
plays back.
At the end of the last message,
3 beeps sound.
After 3 beeps, press "2" (within 10 seconds).
Hang up.
The message tape rewinds, and the unit automatically
resets to the auto
answer mode.
