The ANSWER
indicator flashes to
indicate the number of messages
that have been received (to a maxi-
mum of 15). If more than 15 messag-
es are received, the indicator flashes
continuously.

Press the PLAYBACK
button.
The answering
system plays
back any recorded messages
(including memos).
Then you can:
a) Repeat message playback
b) Save messages
c) Erase messages
To repeat messages

The unit plays back any record-
ed messages.
To save messages
After the last message has
been played back, the tape
stops and the unit returns to the
auto answer mode. Leave the
unit as it is. The old messages
are saved, and any new ones
are recorded after the old ones.
To erase messages
automati-
cally
Press the ERASE button.
The message tape rewinds,
and a beep sounds.

After the message tape is
erased, the unit automatical-
ly returns to the auto answer
mode.
NOTE:
If the end of the message tape is
reached while a message (or
memo) is being recorded, the
ANSWER
indicator flashes slowly
and continuously.
If this happens,
you cannot perform "AUTOMATIC
PLAYBACK.
Before proceeding
with manual message playback,
press the STOP button, and then
press the REW button.
