Safety Cut-Out

If a touchpad is activated for longer than 12 seconds, e.g., by finger contact,
foreign object or boiled-over food, or if two or more touchpads are touched at the
same time, the cooktop switches off automatically. A beep sounds for 10
minutes, and an "F" flashes in the display of the affected burners (see also
Section 010-2.6).
After the foreign object has been removed or the surface has been cleaned, the
cooktop can be switched on again via the main switch .

Timer/Minute Minder

The timer is programmed in the factory setting to work as both a minute minder
and for the automatic shutoff.
In customer programming the timer can be set as either a minute minder alone
or for automatic shutoff only.
When the timer u touchpad is initially touched, the timer functions as a minute
minder.
If the u touchpad is touched again while a burner is operating, the automatic
shutoff feature is activated.
With the automatic shutoff feature activated, the burner being controlled is
indicated by the LED dot next to or above the timer display (refer to Figure 010-
5).

To set the automatic shutoff for several burners, touch the timer u touchpad
repeatedly as necessary.
The automatic shutoff feature can be activated in parallel for all burners with
different times as desired.
The automatic shutoff feature only works when a pot is on the burner.
Timer setting start value:
The factory setting for the timer is 00.
In customer programming a timer start can be programmed with the most
