Quick Guide to Turbo Vap
Endpoint Selections (1)
Choose between four concentration modes:
»
Time: Concentrate for the time specified by the
Endpoint Time setting on the panel. (3)
»
Sensor: Concentrate to an end volume (0.5 or 0.75
mL depending on the style of concentrator tube).
»
Sensor and Time: Concentrate past the 0.5 or
0.75 mL setting by the amount of time specified
by the Endpoint Time setting. (3)
»
Manual: Manually control the concentration with
the Start/Stop button for individual cells. (4)
See pages 3–4 of the Operator's Manual for more information.
Bath Temperature (2)
Set water bath temperature using the pushwheel. Must be
less than 60° C if sensors are installed. The display blinks if
temperature deviates ±2 °C from 60 °C.
Endpoint Time (3)
Use this to set the time for either the Time or Sensor and Time
endpoint selections. (1)
Cell Selections (4)
Start or stop the concentrator cell. The lights indicate the status
of the cell.

On: concentrating
»
Off: not concentrating
»
Blinking: endpoint reached

Description
Display cycles through pressure, temperature,
and time.
Pressure in psi.
Pressure in bars (alternates).
Temperature in degrees centigrade.
Tube position number and time in minutes.
Display during sensor portion of Sensor and
Time concentration.
If time exceeds 99 minutes.
If concentration stopped or not started.
Varies, see Section 8 of the Operator's Manual.
