Silence Mode

There may be times when you need to silence your phone entirely. The
phone's Silence All option allows you to mute all sounds without turning your
phone off.
To activate Silence Mode:
Press and hold the volume key down in standby mode. (The screen
will display "Ringer Off.")
Press and hold
To deactivate Silence Mode:
Press the volume key up and select a desired volume level.

Airplane Mode

When your phone is in Airplane Mode, it cannot send or receive any calls or
access online information. You may still use the phone's other features, such as
Games, Notepad, Voice Memos, etc., while you are in Airplane Mode.
To set your phone to Airplane Mode:

Press the navigation key up or down to select On or Off and

While in Airplane Mode, your phone's standby screen will display "Phone off."
The phone will power cycle when you change from Airplane mode "On" to
Airplane mode "Off". Turning the phone off and on again will reset the phone to
airplane mode "off".
Note:
911 and emergency calls can not be made in Airplane mode "on"

often-used function. The center and down key mappings of the navigation key
to activate silent mode.
