Keys on the Keyboard
Numeric keys
Used to enter the quantity and amount of the
items purchased as well as other numeric values.
Multiplication/Time/% key
1) In REG mode this key is used to multiply
quantity times the item price.
2) In Ps mode this key is used to set the time.
3) In REG mode to display the time simply
depress this key.
4) In addition this model has percent calulation
function with this key. (Refer to page 18 .)
Non-adding/No
sale
key
This key is a dual purpose key.
1) To open cash drawer for exchange, depress this
key.
2) To enter non-add data such as customer
account numbers, enter the number (up to 8
digits) and depress this key.
Void key
To correct the last amount entered on a depart-
ment key, depress this key.·
To correct an error entered which was not
caught immediately after the amount entered into
a department, enter the amount, then depress this
key before the department key.
Received-on-account key
Used to register an amount received.

Paid out/Refund key
This key is used to pay cash out of the drawer.
This key is also used to record a refund
operation during a transaction.
Oearkey
(
Used to clear a numeric values entered on the
keyboard before the department key is depressed.
Also used to clear an error condition.
Subtotal key
Depress this key to show the amount of all
items entered during a transaction. Subtotal
always includes tax if any.
Depressing this key immediately after tax shift
key displays net subtotal.
Charge key
To fmalize a charge transaction, merely depress
this key.
When this key follows an amount entry, the
amount is subtracted from the previous balance
and the new balance will be displayed.
Tendering more than the amount due will result
in error.
