You can change these settings:
UTC time +/- 1 minute per week
Local time
Display appearance
It is only possible to change settings
when the vehicle is stationary.

UTC time

All activities are recorded by the VU using
UTC time (Universal Time Coordinated):
UTC time is more or less corresponds to
Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
It is a time measurement that is based on
the number of seconds elapsed since 1st
January 1970.
The UTC time is not adjusted for
summer/winter time.
Change the UTC time
The UTC time may deviate by
±1 minute per week in the VU.
It can therefore be corrected by
±1 minute once a week.
The UTC time cannot be set closer
to the card expiry date than one hour.
If the UTC time in the VU has devi-
ated by more than 20 minutes, the
VU must be recalibrated by a special-
ist workshop for tachographs.
