6.10.1 Connection of Peripherals

BGM/MOH
The Hybrid IP-PBX provides Background Music and Music on Hold. Only 1 external music
source (e.g., a user-supplied radio) can be connected to the Hybrid IP-PBX.
CAUTION
Wiring should be done carefully to prevent undue force being exerted on the plug.
Otherwise, music may intermittent.
An External Music Jack is an SELV port and should only be connected to an approved
SELV device, or in Australia, via the Line Isolation Unit with the Telecommunications
Compliance Label.
Note
When the Hybrid IP-PBX and external music sources are not connected to the same
earth, hum noise may be induced into Background Music and Music on Hold.
