Setting Up the CS 3500

To set up the CS 3500, follow these steps:
1. Install the imaging software
on the computer. To install
the Dental Imaging
Software, see the Dental
Imaging Installation Guide.
2. Insert the CS 3500
Installation Wizard flash
drive into the USB drive.
The AutoPlay window is
displayed.
Note: If the AutoPlay window does not display
automatically, navigate to the CS 3500 flash drive in
Windows Explorer and double-click Run wizard.exe.
3. Select Run wizard.

window is displayed.
4. Click Run
Installation Wizard.
The Installation
Wizard window is
displayed.
See the User Guide on the flash drive for more information on the CS 3500 and software functions and features.
The wizard verifies that your computer meets the minimum
requirements to run the CS 3500. Keep the following in mind:
– Indicates that the recommended requirements are met.
– Indicates that the minimum requirements are met. You
can continue with the installation, but the CS 3500 might not
run as well as it could if the recommended requirements were
met.
– Indicates that the CS 3500 might not run at all. Stop
the installation and upgrade your computer before continuing.

5. If there are no ,
click Next. The wizard
begins installing the
software.
6. When the software
is installed, the
Installation Wizard
Completed message is
displayed.
7. Click Finish.
8. Firmly press the tip onto the end of the CS 3500.
9. Insert the DC power supply (A) into the jack on the USB
plug (B), and insert the power cord (C) into an outlet.
10. Connect the USB cable of the CS 3500 to the
computer.
