Configuring the Remote Interface

1 Turn on the remote configuration mode.

Notice that if you changed the remote interface selection to RS-232 before, "RS-232"
message is displayed.
2 Choose the RS-232 interface.

You can choose the RS-232 interface by turning the knob.

3 Select the baud rate
Select one of the following: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600 (factory setting)
baud.

4 Select the parity and number of stop bits.
Select one of the following: None (8 data bits, factory setting), Odd (7 data bits), or
Even (7 data bits). When you set the parity, you are also indirectly setting the number
of the data bits.

5 Save the change and exit the menu.
