Getting E600 Ready
Please insert the SIM card into the slot according to
the direction arrow on the back of the E600 with the
golden contact point downward and the blunt corner
inwards.
Installation Guide
The installation procedures of the E600 Manager may
be somewhat different under different operating
systems (Windows XP and Windows 2000). Please
refer to the actual installing tips if the installing
description is different from the following. Here, we
will take the Windows XP operating system as an
example.
Installing the E600 Manager
1.
Put the disk that contains the E600 Manager into

the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
The installation procedures will start

automatically. If the auto-run program does not
start, go to the drive path, find the Setup.exe file
and double click on it, and then the program is
running.
When the Choose Language dialog box appears,

select the installation language correspondingly,
and click <OK>.
Do according to the instructions of the setup

program.
After successful installation, a shortcut for the

E600
will be seen on the desktop.
Installing the E600 Driver

Insert the E600 which contains the SIM

(Subscriber Identity Module) card into the
PCMCIA slot of the computer.
Now the system will automatically find the new

hardware and automatically initialize the new
hardware Installation Shield Wizard.
If a prompt such as "The software failed to pass

the Logo Test" appears, please click <Continue
Anyway> to continue the installation.
When the installation is over, click <Finish> to
4)
complete the installation.
