If they are red, there is a problem. Look at the Maker and Stainer status for Active, Inactive, or Disabled state.

This cycle will take approx. 3 minutes. Viewing Daily Checks Information Step Action Look at the Daily Checks alert status icon .

Select the View Log button to review the Daily Checks tab of the History Log. When you click “Review” for failed results, you are acknowledging the failure and the Note: need to repeat the Daily Checks.

The instrument will automatically begin cycling the cassettes. Ensure your specimens have been collected and stored properly.

You can enter up to five supplies. Step Action Select to display the Supplies screen. Select Menu>Supplies>Slidemaker tab.
  • Page 34 Step Action On the Setup Supplies dialog box, scan or manually enter the bar codes into Bar Code fields 1 and 2, and select OK. Note: The fields on the Supplies screen are automatically populated from the bar code information. The percent (%) remaining of each supply appears on the bottle graphics. From the Supply drop-down list, choose Diluent 1 or Diluent 2 to be replaced and select OK.
  • Page 35 Setting Up Beckman Coulter Stainer Reagents For any non-Beckman Coulter reagent, select Setup Other and manually enter the bar code information. You can enter up to five supplies. Follow these steps to set up reagents for the stainer. Step Action Select to display the Supplies screen.

The software supply icon will turn red when the slides are completely out. The system will go offline until more slides are loaded. Go back online to continue processing the slides.
