GPS System Inspection

Inspect to make sure the GPS system is operating
normally.
Before performing this inspection, turn the power
switch for the transmitter to ON and the main switch
for the helicopter to START.
Inspect the illumination of the GPS indicator light by
referring to the table on 3-9 - 3-10.
If the light flashes for 3 minutes or more after the
YACS control has completed configuration, this
means the reception of the GPS signals may be
poor. In this case, operate the flight only under
YACS control. If the GPS indicator light does nei-
ther illuminate nor flash, the GPS system may have
failed. In this case, request your dealer for repair.
If the power for the flight transmitter is OFF, the light
will stop illuminating in 1 minute, but this condition
is normal. Turn the power for the flight transmitter
ON.
