Setting unlock method for the screen lock
You can set to require entering unlock pattern, PIN or passward which
specified in advance with the touch screen to unlock the screen lock.
1 From the Home screen, w ➝ "Settings" ➝ "Location and
security" ➝ "Set screen lock".

"Pattern", "PIN" or "Password" ➝ Enter according to
onscreen instructions.
Set "PIN" with 4 or more numbers; set "password" with 4 or more
characters including alphabets.
Information
• To set the screen lock settings to OFF, from the Home screen,
"Settings" ➝ "Location and security" ➝ "Change screen lock" ➝ Enter
the unlock pattern, PIN or password ➝ Tap "None".
• When you fail entering unlock pattern, PIN or password 5 times, a
message indicating re-entry after 30 seconds appears. If you forget
unlock pattern when unlocking, "Forgot pattern?" appears on the re-entry
screen if you set Google account in the FOMA terminal. Tap it to enter
sign-in information to Google account, and change to new unlock pattern.
Note that you cannot unlock the screen lock in case that Google account
is not set or you forget PIN or password.

Setting an access point

Access point for connecting the Internet is already registered. You can add
or change it if necessary.
Access points for sp-mode and mopera U are already registered. By default,
sp-mode is set for the usual access point.
Checking the access point you use

network" → "Mobile networks" → "Access Point Names".

Do not change other than MCC to 440 and MNC to 10. If they are changed,
they are not displayed on the screen.

→ w → "New APN".

"Name" → Enter a name of network profile you create →
"OK".

"APN" → Enter the access point name → "OK".

Enter the other items required by the network operator.

• When they are not displayed, perform Reset to default or set an
access point manually.
