5.2.1 Mixed Sheet Feeding
- These specifications are applied to the conditions below.
Papers are aligned to the top/left edges.
Papers are not folded or tore.
- However papers meet the specification there might be cases they are not scanned well
in mixed paper size condition.
Before actual job, it is necessary to evaluate the mixed paper scanning with real
-
paper samples.
- No-carbon paper whose coefficient of friction is large might not be scanned with OCR
papers and regular papers.
- perforated paper, paper with sprocket, heat seal, wet seal, and dry seal can not be
mixed.
- When mixed size papers are fed, ratio of paper length and width should be Min / Max
≧0.7.
- Mixable area of paper thickness is shown in the figure below.
