• This unit should be kept free of dust, moisture, high temperature and vibration, and
should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
eNever attempt to insert wires, pins, etc. into the vents or other holes of this unit.
•If there is trouble, disconnect the unit from the telephone line. Plug the telephone
directly into the telephone line. If the telephone operates properly, do not reconnect
the unit to the line until the trouble has been repaired by an authorized Panasonic
Factory Service Center. If the telephone does not operate properly, chances are that
the trouble is in the telephone system, and not in the unit.
•Do not use benzine, thinner, or similar solvents. Do not use abrasive powder to
clean the cabinet. Wipe it with a soft cloth.
This equipment generates and uses radio frequency energy and if not installed
and used properly, that is, in strict accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions, may cause interference to radio and television reception. It has
been type tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B computing
device in accordance with the specifications in Subpart J of Part
Rules, which are designed to provide reasonable protection against such
interference in a residential installation. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does
cause interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the
interference by one or more of the following measures:
. . . Reorient the receiving antenna
. . . Relocate• the equipment with respect to the receiver
. . . Move the equipment a way from the re�ver
. . . Plug the equipment into a different outlet so that equipment and receiver are
on dif ferent branch circuits.
If necessary, the user should consult the dealer or an experienced radio/
television technician for additional suggestions. The user may find the
following booklet prepared by the Federal Communications Comrnission
helpful:
"How to Identify and Resolve Radio- TV Interference Problems ".
