1. Check the Bake Igniter – Ensure the bake igniter below the oven floor is glowing when the bake function is on. If it does not glow, it may be faulty and need replacement.
2. Test the Temperature Sensor – Confirm that the oven temperature sensor has proper continuity. If defective, replace it.
3. Inspect the Control Panel and PCB – Verify that the bake, broil, and control relays on the PCB are functioning correctly. Ensure all harness connections are secure. If needed, replace the PCB.
4. Check the Gas Valve – If the igniter glows but the oven does not heat, the gas valve may not be opening properly. A faulty valve should be replaced.
5. Examine Wiring and Harnesses – Look for any loose or damaged wiring connections between the control board, igniter, and gas valve.
6. Test the Broil Function – If the broiler works but the bake function does not, this can indicate an issue with the bake igniter or control board.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, replacing the bake igniter or control board may be necessary.

On back of control panel display has 2 wire harnesses. One harness has only 2 wires a black and white. They came out of plug while removing. Could you please give me location of these 2 wires in the plug. Plug has 8 spaces. I would greatly appreciate this.
Need help?
