3. Wedge a 2 x 4 between the skeg and the propeller. Then use a deep
socket and ratchet to remove the propeller nut.
4. Next, remove the washer and spacer. Remove the propeller. Remove
thrust washer and see note below.
Note: Check the propshaft seal behind the propeller for fi sh line and
debris that could cut the propshaft seal.
Installing propeller- Before installing parts back on to the propshaft
make sure you lubricate the propshaft with the recommended lube.
1. Install the thrust washer on the propshaft fi rst as indicated in the
illlustration above. Then install the propeller.
2. Align the spacer protrusions with the cutouts of the propeller.
