WARNING: Risk to operational reliability
Incorrect operation or modifications to the device can endanger your safety or
damage the printer. You must not repair the device. If the device has a fault, con-
tact Phoenix Contact.

NOTE: Damage to the printer
Remove material from the magazine prior to transport.
The magazines and ink ribbon cartridge may remain in the printer.
Lock the transportation safeguard (see "Unlocking the transportation safe-
guard" on page 9).
For shipment, pack the printer in its original packaging or in the TMP CASE
transport case.
A transport bag (TMP BAG, 0803674) is available for transporting the printer. In ad-
dition, a transport case (TMP CASE, 0803675) is available which is dust-proof and
splash-proof in the short term. We recommend using the transport case for safe
storage and for shipment.

To benefit from improvements and function extensions, you can download updates
at

must be saved in the root directory on the USB stick.
Switch on the device.
Connect the USB stick to the USB interface on the control panel. The USB in-
terface next to the network connection is not suitable.
