    WIRELESS LAN SETUP SHARP For MX-C300W & MX-C301W series only, two connection methods are available for the standard Wireless LAN:- Infrastructure Mode: Infrastructure mode allows for wireless communication between two client devices via a host (access point). The MFP connects to an access point to obtain an IP address.

    MX-C250F/300W FIRMWARE UPGRADE SHARP MX-C250F, MX-C300W ONLY [USB MEMORY DEVICE]: 1. Using a PC, copy the MX-C250/300 series firmware (*.sfu) onto the root directory of a USB memory device (as indicated below):- 2. Power ON the MX-C250/300 series machine. 3. Insert the USB memory device containing the firmware file into the front USB Port.

    MX-C301W FIRMWARE RECOVERY SHARP MX-C301W ONLY: In the event of a power failure during a firmware update, the device may fail to “reboot” because of corrupted firmware. Using the CN Update procedure described below, this function is used to update/recover the firmware by transferring data to the MFP PWB, SCU PWB, PCU PWB, FAX PWB, and various options by means of a USB memory.

    HDD REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE SHARP Most data that is stored on the HDD can be backed up and reinstalled following replacement or HDD failure. If the HDD is operating normally before replacement, backup the data and then reinstall the data onto the replacement HDD.
