Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot
1. From the Home screen, tap
CONNECTIONS Tethering and Mobile hotspot 
Mobile Hotspot.
2. Turn Portable Wi-Fi Hotspot on by tapping the slider so
that it changes to the ON position

4. Enter or edit the Network SSID, Hide my device,
Security setting, and Password as required (tap Show
password and Show advanced options if you want to see
them displayed).
5. Tap SAVE.
6. If you want to allow only specific devices to connect to
the hotspot, tap the device name
(GALAXY_NOTE3_XXXX where XXXX is four randomly
generated digits) and tap Allowed device only.
7. Press

• Allowed devices: Enter the Device name and MAC address for
allowed devices.

USB tethering
1. From the Home screen, tap
CONNECTIONS Tethering and mobile hotspot.
2. Connect your phone to your PC using a USB cable.
3. Tap USB tethering to add a checkmark and activate the
feature. The USB tethering icon

4. Follow the on-screen instructions to use USB tethering.

Flight mode

Flight mode allows you to use many of your phone's features,
such as Camera, Games, and more, when you are in an
airplane or in any other area where making or receiving calls
or data is prohibited.
Important! When your phone is in Flight Mode, it cannot send or
receive any calls or access online information or
applications.
