    6. Timed Boost: If there is a regular requirement for hot water outside the off peak periods, a programmed boost can be set. This will not use cheap rate electricity. Press the SET button three times. Boost will be displayed, along with the on time, default 12.00 PM. The hour will be flashing. Change the hour using the + and - buttons, and then press SELECT to change the minutes. Press SELECT to change the off time. Finally press SELECT to return to operating mode. Note: The boost time set will not be activated automatically just by programming a time. To activate the programmed boost period, press SELECT in operating mode, and Timed boost will be displayed. During a timed boost period, the surround of the boost button will illuminate. 7. Manual Boost: The manual boost is operated by pressing the boost button. When the boost button is pressed, the button surround will illuminate. Boost can be for 30, 60 or 120 minutes. Successive presses of the boost button will scroll through the time periods. These are displayed on the top right of the screen. The boost time selected will display the remaining time of the boost period, and will count down to zero. Boost can be cancelled by repeatedly pressing the boost button until there is no boost time displayed. Should an economy period start within the duration of the boost, this will over ride the boost period, using cheaper off peak electricity. During an off peak period, with the economy light illuminated, it is not possible to use the boost function.
