FAULT
Cutterdecks fail to start
up when lowered into
work
Contact your Toro dealer if you have a problem which is not outlined above.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Faulty seat sensor switch
Low oil level
Faulty shut off sensor switch
Pressure relief valve jammed open or
wrongly set
Cutterblade jammed
Cutterdeck control valve in the 'off' position
caused by:
- Defective control valve
- Electrical fault
REMEDY
Check mechanical and electrical operation
of switch
Fill hydraulic oil reservoir to correct level
Check mechanical adjustment and electrical
operation
Have relief valve cleaned and pressure
checked. Consult your authorised dealer
Free off as necessary
Overhaul control valve
Have electrical system checked
