FAULT
After initial satisfactory

One cylinder rotates
slowly
Cutterdeck fails to lift out
of work
Cutterdecks do not follow
ground contours
Cutterdeck vibrate
excessively
Cylinders rotate in wrong
direction
TROUBLE SHOOTING
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Worn pump or motor
Low hydraulic oil level
Incorrect oil viscosity
Oil filter element blocked
Faulty pressure relief valve
Overheating
Leaks on suction hose
Motor integral check valve jammed open
Motor worn
Lift cylinder seal failure
Pressure relief valve jammed open or
wrongly set
Defective control valve
Mechanical blockage
Incorrect hose routing or incorrect
orientation of hydraulic fittings
Tightness in pivots
Mower operated in 'hold' position
Cutterblades out of balance
Hoses wrongly connected
Cutterdeck drive switch wrongly connected
REMEDY
Replace as necessary
Fill hydraulic oil tank to correct level
Renew oil in hydraulic tank with hydraulic
oil of correct viscosity grade, refer to
SPECIFICATIONS
Change filter element
Have relief valve cleaned and pressure
checked. Consult your authorised dealer
Reduce work rate i.e. increase height of cut
or reduce forward speed
Incorrect hydraulic oil grade, refer - Problem
'Hydraulic Oil System Overheating'
Check and tighten fittings. Replace hose if
necessary
Have check valve cleaned and checked
Replace motor
Replace seals
Have relief valve cleaned and pressure
checked. Consult your authorised dealer
Overhaul control valve
Remove blockage
Move cutterdecks throughout extremes of
movement and observe any tightness in the
hoses. Correctly route hoses and orientate
fittings as necessary
Free off and grease as necessary
Move position control lever to 'down/float'
position
Re sharpen or replace as necessary
Check hydraulic circuit and re connect as
necessary
Check switch electrical connections
