The parking brake switch is located under the fuel tank
near the locking lever (Figure 16).
The parking brake switch is part of the safety interlock
system. The engine will shut down if the operator
leaves the seat without engaging the parking brake.
When the parking brake is latched, the plunger is
1. Disconnect the switch from the wiring harness.
2. Use a ohmmeter to test continuity between the
Plunger out – no continuity
