set up text alerts for sports
results, horoscopes, news
and lottery numbers
To set up an Orange text alert simply call
277 free from your Orange phone:
1 Call 277.
2 Follow the voice prompts.
After setting up an alert you'll receive a text
message every time there's an update
about the subject you've chosen.
To cancel an alert dial 277 and follow the
prompts.
Note: You can receive text alerts when
roaming but you cannot set them up.

1 Scroll to Information and choose from
the following topics:
Sport

Lifestyle
I
Finance
I
2 You will be offered a further list of
options. Scroll to the one you want and
press OK.
3 Enter the code for your specific
information and press OK.
4 Choose from the following three options:
Latest
I
Sends you a single text
message with the latest information.
All future
I
Requests that you are sent regular
updates.
No more
I
Cancels the All future option.

Note: You will be charged your normal
service plan rate for each text message
received.
if you prefer to listen to the
news rather than read it
simply call 177
When you call 177 you can listen to
up-to-date information on a variety of
subjects.
1 Call 177.
2 Simply follow the voice prompts to hear
the information you want.
Note: You will be charged a set price of
34p per minute (excluding VAT) to call 177.
