5 - send and receive text messages

Photo Messaging
Photo Messaging changes the way you
message, allowing you to send and receive
text and pictures in one message to other
mobile users.
You can send photo messages to any
other phone. If the recipients phone
supports Photo Messaging they will be able
to see the photo. If the recipients phone
does not support Photo Messaging they
will receive a text message with a website
address and password and they can view
the photo online via the Orange website.
You can also send Photo Messages to
email addresses.
Note: Photo Messaging and its availability
depends upon which network/service
provider you are using when abroad.
To send a photo message:
1 Press Menu, select Messages and then
Multimedia msgs. Select Create message.
2 Write any text that you would like to
include in the message. See page 5.3
for details on text input.
3 To insert your picture press Options
and Select Insert image. Your Gallery
will open.
4 Scroll to the folder which contains the
picture or tone that you want to insert
and press Open.
5 Scroll to the picture that you want and
press Options. Select Insert.
6 To view the message before you send it
press Options and select Preview.
7 Press Options and then select
Send to number or Send to e-mail.
8 Enter the phone number or e-mail
address of the person that you wish to
send the message to. Press OK.
9 The message will be moved to your
Outbox where it will be sent. You can
use the other functions on your phone
whilst the message is being sent.
5.1
To read a photo message:
1 When you receive a photo message you
will hear a tone and see Multimedia
message received on your display.
2 Press Show to view the message, or
press Exit to save the message to your
Inbox for later viewing.
3 Read the message and look at the
attachments using the scroll keys.
4 Press Options to choose from the
following:
Details
I
To view the message subject, size
and class.
Save image
I
To save the image in the Gallery.
Delete message
I
To delete the message press OK
to confirm your choice.
Reply
I
To reply to the message enter your
message and select Options and
then Send.
Forward to number
I
Send this message on to another
phone number.
Forward to e-mail
I
Send this message on to an
email address.
Message details
I
To view sender and recipient details
as well as the time and date of
sending and the subject.
