    The scene mode selection screen displays sample images as well as a description of the shooting situation for which it is designed. • By switching to the other scene mode, most settings will be changed to the default settings of each scene mode. When the subject is dark, noise reduction is automatically activated.

    Printing pictures Direct printing (PictBridge) Using the direct printing function By connecting the camera to a PictBridge-compatible printer, you can print pictures directly - no computer necessary. Select the pictures you want to print and the number of prints using the camera’s print menus.

    Appendix Camera care Cleaning the camera Exterior: • Wipe gently with a soft cloth. If the camera is very dirty, soak the cloth in mild soapy water and wring well. Wipe the camera with the damp cloth and then dry it with a dry cloth. If you have used the camera at the beach, use a cloth soaked in clean water and wrung well.
