Gently push the platter all the way in until it
clicks into place.
Ejecting a CD
1.
Ensure that the drive's activity indicator is unlit,
then press the
drawer.
2.
Gently pull the drawer fully open in order to
remove the CD.

Emergency removal of a CD
To eject the platter manually (for example, during a
power failure) use the emergency eject hole, located
just to the right of the
EJECT
1.
Shut down the computer, and turn it off.
2.
Insert a thin non-metallic rod into the
emergency eject hole. Push carefully and firmly
to open the drawer.
