VCR or DVD Recorder to an
Antenna or Wall Outlet Cable
Required:
1. Video cables
1a. Component video cables (red/blue/green)
or
1b. Composite video cable (usually yellow)
2. Left/right analog audio cables.
3. Two-way RF splitter
4. Two coaxial cables
Note:
Use composite video only if component video or
HDMI are unavailable. For an HDMI connection
between the TV and recorder, see page 20.
If your recording device has an analog-only tuner,
you must use a digital converter box to enable
recording of digital broadcasts.

possible to view live cable programs through the
recording device. For best picture quality always
view live cable programs directly from the TV input
connected to the cable box device.
