    INSTALLING THE D-HANDLE 1. For your safety, the D-Handle must be assembled in front of the limiter sleeve. Push the D-Handle down over the shaft tube so that the handle slants back towards the engine (Fig. 1). CAUTION: Do not force the D-handle over the limiter sleeve.

    Clippings are thrown away from the operator. • Slowly move the trimmer into and out of the cutting area at the desired height. Move either in a forward- backward or side-to-side motion. Cutting shorter lengths produces the best results.

  • Page 35 EINBAU DES D-FÖRMIGEN GRIFFS 1. Zu ihrer Sicherheit muss die D-förmige Griffstange vor der Begrenzermanschette montiert sein. Die Griffstange nach unten über das Achsenrohr schieben, so dass der Griff sich schräg zum Motor hin befindet (Abb. 1). WARNHINWEIS: Die D-förmige Griffstange nicht über die Begrenzermanschette forcieren.

    ANMERKUNG : Der Motor verwendet Advanced Starting Technology™, wobei der Kraftaufwand beim Anlassen wesentlich vermindert wird. Sie müssen die Schnur des Anlassers weit genug herausziehen, um den Motor anlassen zu hören. Es besteht keine Notwendigkeit, heftig an der Schnur zu ziehen – es gibt keinen starken Widerstand auf Zug.

    INSTALLAZIONE DELL'IMPUGNATURA A D 1. Per la propria sicurezza, il manico a D va montato davanti al manicotto di limitazione. Premere il manico a D verso il basso, sopra il tubo dell’albero, in modo che il manico sia inclinato verso il motore (fig. 1). AVVERTENZA: non forzare il manico a D sopra il manicotto di limitazione.

NOTA : L’unità utilizza Advanced Starting Technology™ che riduce significativamente lo sforzo richiesto per avviare il motore.
