Subwoofer
Activating and deactivating
• You can turn the subwoofer on and off with the mains
switch (20).
After activation, it is in standby.
The On/Off button (21) and the power control LED
Power (12) are illuminated in red.
• Turn the subwoofer on or to standby with the On/Off
button (21).
The On/Off button (21) and the power control LED
Power (12) are illuminated in turn blue when activated.
• Switch On/Auto (13)
Switch setting Auto:
The subwoofer will switch to standby approx. 20
minutes after the Cinebar 21 has been switched to
standby. The subwoofer will be activated when the
Cinebar 21 is activated.
Switch position On:
The subwoofer remains on even if the Cinebar 21 is
switched to standby.
Auto Level
• You can adjust the activation sensitivity of the sub-
woofer using the Auto Level (15) control. Turning the
control in a clockwise direction increases the sensitivity
of the auto-on function. This means that the subwoofer
will already be activated by a very low audio signal.
Subwoofer volume
• You can set the subwoofer volume with this control
Volume (16).
• The buttons Sub +/- (26) are another way of adjusting
the subwoofer volume.
Phase switch
• Have another person switch the Phase (14) back and
forth while you assess the bass playback. Leave the
phase switch in the position where the bass is the loud-
est and clearest.
Limiter
• The control LED Limiter (11) will light up if the sub-
woofer is overloaded by an excessive input signal.
Reduce the input signal if this LED lights up.
