Troubleshooting
The following notes and further detailed information on our website should help you to rectify malfunctions. If

Problem
The device emits no
sound.
The sound is not optimal. The settings are not correct.
The subwoofer isn't work-
ing.
The subwoofer hums.
Subwoofer does not con-
nect to the Cinebar 11.
Playback is noisy.

Possible cause
Wrong source selected.
Device has been set to "mute".
Volume is set to "0".
The subwoofer is off or doesn't have
any power.
No connection to Cinebar 11.
The subwoofer is connected to another
circuit than the rest of the system.
The buzzing is caused by problems with
the power supply.
The buzzing is caused by a multiple
socket.
Connection is interfered by WLAN, etc.
Generally speaking, the Cinebar 11 is a
very low-noise system. In most cases,
the speaker system with exceptional
resolution in the high range area can ex-
pose the poor quality of a signal source
(e.g. from MP3 fi les).
Solution
Select the right source (see page 12).
Push the button
or adjust the volume.
Increase the volume.
Adjust the sound settings as described on
page 13.
Turn on the subwoofer with the switch
(13). Check the power cord and socket.
Connect subwoofer and Cinebar 11 (see
page 12).
Connect the subwoofer and Cinebar 11 to
the same circuit.
Buy a line fi lter and connect both devices
to it.
Use another multi-outlet power strip or
connect the subwoofer directly to the
wall socket. It may also help to insert the
power plug the other way around.
Set the subwoofer closer to the
Cinebar 11.
Ensure that the source is sending a clean
signal to the Cinebar 11.
