During installation, the phone checks the integrity of the package to be installed. The
phone shows information about the checks being carried out and you are given options
whether to continue or cancel the installation. Once the phone has checked the integrity
of the software package, the application is installed on your phone.

Removing software

Via
1 To remove a software package, scroll to it and select Options→ Remove.
2 Press
Yes
to confirm the removal.
Important: If you remove software, you can only re-install it if you have the original
software package or a full backup of the removed software package. If you remove
a software package, you may no longer be able to open documents created with that
software. If another software package depends on the software package that you
removed, the other software package may stop working. Refer to the documentation
of the installed software package for details.

Viewing memory consumption

• To open the memory view, move the joystick to the right in the Manager main view.
When you open the Memory view, the phone calculates the amount of free memory for
storing data and installing new software. In the memory view, you can view the memory
consumption of the different data groups: Contacts, Calendar, Documents, Messages, Images,
Applications,
Sound
files,
Tip! If memory is getting low, remove some documents. See also p. 122.
